When will a filing that is made in EDGAR be available in EFD?

The availability of a filing in EFD depends on its availability on the SEC’s EDGAR system. Once a filing has been deemed “filed” by EDGAR, that filing should be available in EFD. While the hours of operation for EDGAR are 6 am – 10 pm Eastern Time on weekdays (excluding federal holidays), all Form D filings made after 5:30 pm Eastern Time will not be deemed filed until the following business day. For example, a Form D that is filed in EDGAR on Friday at 7 pm will not be available in EFD until Monday morning.
